The Newmen Evolution A.30 Rear Wheel in 29" with Boost 12 x 148 mm installation dimension and 6-hole brake disc mount is the ideal choice if you want to equip your MTB with a wide, high-performance rear wheel. The 30 mm internal width of the aluminum rim offers your tires a stable contact surface and allows for low air pressures – for excellent grip, rich comfort, and plenty of cornering stability even in tough off-road use.

The rim is designed as Hookless Tubeless Ready. With suitable tubeless rim tape, valve, and sealant, the rear wheel can be easily converted to tubeless operation. This way, you benefit from a lower risk of punctures, better rolling performance, and maximum traction on technical trails.

At the heart of the rear wheel is a Newmen FADE hub of the 2nd generation with a Shimano Micro Spline freehub body. It is particularly quiet, offers efficient power transmission, and is optimally matched to modern 12-speed Shimano cassettes. In combination with the 28 double-butted spokes, a stiff, yet durable rear wheel is created for cross country, trail, all-mountain, and enduro.

Welcher Laufradsatz passt zu meinem Bike?

Entscheidend sind vor allem Zollgröße, Achsmaß und Freilauf. Diese Werte müssen zu deinem Rahmen, deiner Gabel und deiner Kassette passen.

Zusätzlich solltest du Bremsscheibenaufnahme und Felgenmaulweite prüfen. Die Bremsscheibenaufnahme ist oft lösbar, das Achsmaß dagegen muss wirklich passen.

Am sichersten ist es, die Maße am alten Laufrad zu prüfen und mit den Angaben im Produkt zu vergleichen.

Welchen Freilauf brauche ich?

Der Freilauf muss zu deiner Kassette passen. Häufige Standards sind Shimano HG, Shimano MicroSpline und SRAM XD.

Wenn du deine bisherige Kassette weiterverwenden möchtest, sollte der neue Laufradsatz denselben Freilaufstandard haben.

Bei manchen Laufrädern lässt sich der Freilaufkörper tauschen. Das hängt aber vom Nabenmodell ab und sollte vorher geprüft werden.

Kann ich Tubeless-Laufräder auch mit Schlauch fahren?

Ja, das ist problemlos möglich. In Tubeless- oder Tubeless-Ready-Laufrädern kannst du ganz normal einen Schlauch fahren.

Wichtig ist nur, dass Reifengröße, Ventillänge und Felgenband passen. Tubeless ist eine Option, aber kein Muss.

Welche Reifenbreite passt zur Felgenmaulweite?

Die Felgenmaulweite bestimmt, welche Reifenbreite sinnvoll ist. Zu schmale Reifen auf einer breiten Felge können instabil wirken, zu breite Reifen auf einer schmalen Felge eher schwammig.

Orientiere dich an den Herstellerempfehlungen und an der Reifenbreite, die du bisher fährst. Bei MTB-Laufrädern ist die Maulweite besonders wichtig.

Wenn Zollgröße, Achsmaß und Freilauf passen, ist die passende Reifenbreite meist der nächste wichtige Punkt.
