Important: Not compatible with standard shock bushings. The shock absorber has an extra low-friction spherical bearing mount at the top and bottom with a width of 29.5 mm. This width is not adjustable.

Welcher Dämpfer passt zu meinem Bike?

Entscheidend sind vor allem Einbaulänge, Hub und Aufnahmeart. Die Einbaulänge muss exakt zum Rahmen passen.

Am sichersten prüfst du die Daten über die Seriennummer des alten Dämpfers oder misst den ausgebauten Dämpfer von Mitte Auge zu Mitte Auge. Wenn diese Maße nicht passen, kann sich die Geometrie verändern oder der Dämpfer nicht korrekt im Rahmen arbeiten.

Wie viel Federweg hat der Dämpfer?

Der Federweg des Bikes wird nicht nur durch den Dämpfer bestimmt, sondern auch durch die Rahmenkinematik.

Wenn Einbaulänge und Hub dem originalen Dämpfer entsprechen, bleibt der Federweg in der Regel gleich. Ein abweichender Hub kann den Federweg erhöhen oder verringern und sollte nur gewählt werden, wenn der Rahmen dafür freigegeben ist.

Manche Dämpfer lassen sich im Hub anpassen. Das hängt aber vom Modell ab und ist nicht bei jedem Dämpfer einfach möglich.

Sind Dämpferbuchsen im Lieferumfang enthalten?

Dämpferbuchsen und Einbauhardware sind rahmenabhängig und deshalb meistens nicht automatisch beim Dämpfer enthalten.

Miss am besten die Breite und den Innendurchmesser deiner alten Buchsen. Wenn du wieder einen Dämpfer desselben Herstellers verbaust, kannst du die alte Hardware häufig weiterverwenden oder umpressen.

Wichtig: Nicht jede Buchse passt zu jedem Hersteller. RockShox und Fox verwenden zum Beispiel unterschiedliche Standards.

Was bedeutet Trunnion Mount?

Trunnion Mount ist eine spezielle Dämpferaufnahme, bei der der Dämpfer seitlich direkt am Rahmen verschraubt wird.

Ein Trunnion-Dämpfer ist nicht mit einem klassischen Dämpferauge austauschbar. Prüfe daher vor dem Kauf unbedingt, ob dein bisheriger Dämpfer Trunnion oder eine normale Augenaufnahme hat.
