The Shimano XTR BL-M9120 / BR-M9120 Disc Brake with 4-piston caliper and approx. 900 mm brake hose is made for ambitious trail and enduro riders who want a powerful yet precisely controllable system on the front wheel. The Servo-Wave brake lever delivers plenty of braking power early in the lever stroke while providing sensitive control in technical terrain.

Thanks to a revised lever mount with a wider clamp and additional support on the handlebar, the XTR lever offers a particularly direct feel. According to Shimano, the stiffer construction increases both braking power and response speed – with excellent ergonomics at the same time. The reach can be adjusted without tools, so you can perfectly adapt the lever to your hand size.

The one-piece 4-piston caliper BR-M9120 made of aluminum is designed for tough use in the mountains and, in combination with the N03A Resin pads with cooling fins, provides high stability and good heat resistance. In conjunction with the recommended Shimano RT-MT900 ICE-TECH FREEZA brake discs, you get a setup with enormous deceleration and reliable performance on long descents.
