Swiss VAT Refund
If you have your residence outside the EU (e.g., Switzerland) and wish to export the items ordered from us yourself, we will gladly refund the sales tax.
Prerequisites for VAT refund:
- Delivery address: Germany
- Billing address: outside the EU
- You inform us immediately after ordering by e-mail so that we can prepare the documents. Please also tell us your ID number. (E-mail: felix@raaad.de)
- Exact adherence to the steps specified here, especially the stamping of the papers by customs.
We will enclose the following printed documents with your order:
- Invoice for the order
- Export and purchaser certificate for VAT purposes for exports in non-commercial travel (§ 6 para. 3a UStG)
For the refund, the statutory deadline must be met. The export must demonstrably have taken place before the end of the third calendar month following the month of delivery.
German customs only stamps invoices or forms with a minimum value of 50 EUR per invoice (before taxes).
Required Documents
The customer is obliged to present the following:
- Export and purchaser certificate and individual invoice with the residential address abroad (enclosed in the package).
- Passport or other travel document with the residential address outside the EU.
Procedure at the Border Customs Office
If an official stamp with place and date is available, the German Border Customs Office confirms the following:
- the customs clearance of the goods presented for export and specified in detail in the invoice
- the conformity of the information regarding name, address, passport number
