The Mavic Crossride wheelset in 27.5" (650B) is a reliable upgrade for your MTB if you are looking for a robust, uncomplicated wheelset with disc brakes and quick-release skewers. With a 100 mm quick release at the front and a 135 mm quick release at the rear, it fits many classic hardtails and full-suspension bikes.
The rims with dimensions 584x21C (27.5" diameter, 21 mm inner width) provide a good base for common MTB tire widths – ideal for cross country, trail, and touring bikes. The wheelset is hand-built in Romania and impresses with its true running and stable lacing.
With a 6-bolt disc mount, you are flexible in your choice of brake rotors and can use many standard MTB rotors. The Shimano HG freewheel is compatible with typical MTB cassettes with HG standard. Mavic delivers the wheelset including mounted rim tape (not tubeless-ready) and the matching quick releases for front and rear – so you can install it directly.
