The SRAM Rival 1 Rear Derailleurs was specially developed for 1x drivetrains and is suitable for a wide range of uses, from road cycling and triathlon to gravel and cyclocross. The design is optimized for wide-range cassettes and enables fast, precise gear changes across the entire gear range.

The integrated Type 3.0 Roller Bearing Clutch stabilizes the derailleur cage and ensures smooth chain movement even on rough surfaces. Combined with X-Horizon technology, it reduces unwanted vertical movement and improves shifting precision.

The enlarged derailleur pulleys, each with 12 teeth and an X-SYNC tooth profile, support secure chain guidance. For easy rear-wheel removal, the derailleur cage can be locked using the proven Cage Lock function.
