The Shimano XTR BL-M9120 / BR-M9120 disc brake with a 4-piston caliper and approx. 900 mm brake hose is made for ambitious trail and enduro riders who want powerful yet precisely controllable braking on the front wheel. The Servo-Wave brake lever delivers plenty of braking power early in the lever stroke while also providing sensitive control in technical terrain.

Thanks to its redesigned lever mount with a wide clamp and additional handlebar support, the XTR lever offers an especially direct pressure feel. According to Shimano, the stiffer construction increases both braking power and response speed while providing excellent ergonomics. The reach can be adjusted without tools, allowing you to set the lever perfectly to your hand size.

The one-piece 4-piston BR-M9120 brake caliper made of aluminum is designed for demanding use in the mountains and, combined with the N03A Resin pads with cooling fins, provides high fade resistance and good heat resistance. Together with the recommended Shimano RT-MT900 ICE-TECH FREEZA brake rotors, you get a setup with immense stopping power and reliable performance on long descents.
