The NOVATEC R3 Carbon wheelset is designed for use on road bikes and combines 35 mm-high carbon rims with a modern internal rim width of 21 mm. The medium-height rim profile offers a balanced combination of aerodynamics, low weight, and versatile riding characteristics.

The rims feature a hooked, or crotchet, profile and have a classic rim hook for secure tire seating. With 12 × 100 mm front and 12 × 142 mm rear axle standards, the wheelset is suitable for correspondingly designed road bike frames and forks. The Shimano HG freehub enables the installation of compatible Shimano HG cassettes.
