The Magura MT5e is a hydraulic 4-piston disc brake for the front wheel. The pre-assembled and pre-filled brake system comes with a brake lever and a QM42 Postmount adapter for a 203 mm brake rotor on PM6 mounts. The existing brake hose measures 870 mm.
An electrical connection cable with two jointly sheathed wires is attached to the brake lever. The connection has no plug; according to the staff, the wire ends have been neatly stripped and tinned. The electrical brake contact switch was tested with a multimeter and confirmed as a normally open switch (Closer / NO).
