The Der Baron Projekt is made for demanding MTB use, where grip, lateral support, and control matter more than low weight alone. The 29 x 2.40 inch version combines the specified protection and rubber technologies with Tubeless Ready compatibility.

For the tire to perform well on the trail, rim width, tire clearance, and intended use should all be compatible. This combination ultimately determines grip, damping, and ride feel.

Key features at a glance:

• ProTection Apex: Additional protection and sidewall stability on challenging descents.
• BlackChili Compound: Rubber compound for grip and controlled handling.
• Tubeless Ready: Suitable for a tubeless setup with a compatible rim and accessories.
