The SRAM S900 Direct Mount rim brake for the front offers enormous braking power and a highly direct response - ideal for modern road bikes with a Direct Mount fitting on the fork. Thanks to its special synchronizer design, both brake pads engage evenly, increasing system stiffness and preventing a spongy feeling at the lever.

Instead of letting energy “dissipate” in the frame or fork, the force is efficiently converted into deceleration. The result: strong braking performance, precise modulation and quick lever return. It is no coincidence that this brake is also used at WorldTour level.

With clearance for tires up to 28 mm, the S900 is designed for modern, wider road bike and aero wheelsets. The included SwissStop Flash Pro brake pads provide excellent bite, plenty of feel and reliable performance in both wet and dry conditions.

The brake is compatible with all mechanical SRAM road bike brake levers - including SRAM RED® eTap® - making it the perfect addition when you want to complete a SRAM cockpit with a high-quality Direct Mount front brake.
