The DT Swiss 240 Straightpull rear hub with 12x148 mm Boost, 6-bolt disc mount and 28 spoke holes is the ideal foundation for lightweight, stiff and highly durable MTB and e-MTB wheelsets. It combines the low weight of the 240 platform with the latest Ratchet EXP 36 freehub technology and a Shimano HG freehub body (Shimano Light).

The Ratchet EXP system uses large-area interlocking toothed rings to provide direct, low-loss power transfer and outstanding reliability - even under high drive and braking forces. Integrating the toothed ring into the threaded ring reduces the number of components, saves weight and increases the bearing spacing. This significantly improves the hub's axle stiffness and durability.

The 28-hole Straightpull design distributes loads evenly and enables the construction of stiff, precise wheelsets - whether for demanding trails, enduro stage rides or fast e-MTB use. Thanks to the no-tool concept, the end caps and freehub body can be removed without tools, making maintenance and conversion to other DT Ratchet freehub bodies particularly easy.

The hub is also approved for e-bikes up to 32 km/h / 250 W, making it perfect for modern e-MTB wheelsets with Shimano HG cassettes. The robust sealing system and high-quality industrial bearings ensure smooth running - even after many thousands of kilometers in the dirt.
